Innovative Technology

Andalay technology was designed and patented in 2004 to offer the industry's first fully integrated grooved frame. Leveraging the groove and other innovative mounting component designs, we launched the first DC panel with integrated wiring racking and mounting in 2007. This patented design resulted in 80% less parts and a system that installs in half the time.

In 2009, we were again first to market with a fully-integrated plug-and-play AC solar panel. Most recently we launched a next generation, 235 watt AC panel along with a lightweight non-penetrating flat roof system. Today, solar panels using Andalay technology have become the world’s most widely installed integrated solar panel solution.
